In 2024, Form Engine releases added new ways to build and control forms, improvements to behaviors, tokens, reports and PDF output, and many fixes that make forms more reliable with Quickbase.

January 2024

Version 0.159 (January 3)

  • Report control: Fixed a problem where a report control listed all records when the parent record could not be found.

  • Behavior text: Fixed incorrect text shown for behaviors that use "Not Equals" logic.

  • Token options: The field list in token options is now sorted by page and label, and it includes missing fields.

  • Page selection: Added a page selection dropdown to the bottom toolbar of the static template builder.
  • Navigation bar buttons: The default titles of the navigation bar buttons can now be customized with CSS.
  • Prefill values: Fixed text field prefill values being converted to numbers and changed.

  • Dynamic text controls: Some display properties of dynamic text controls can now be overridden.
  • PDFs with missing references: Fixed an error when generating a PDF for a form whose URL has missing references.

  • Static template backgrounds: Unused background images are now removed from static templates.

  • Lookup fields: Fixed an issue when updating lookup fields in a prefill where the related record does not exist.
