With the help of Adobe Acrobat Pro Desktop Version, form builders are able to convert Non-Fillable files (PDFs, docx, and other common file formats) into Fillable PDF's. By using Fillable PDF forms, builders are able to significantly reduce the time it takes to digitize a form by using the Snap-2-Align feature in Form Engine.

Steps for Converting Documents
REQUIRED: Adobe Acrobat Pro Desktop is needed for this process to work. If you do not have this app, then please create a Help Ticket in the Form Engine Builder, attach the forms you'd like converted to fillable PDF, and we will convert them for you.

Follow the Steps below to convert documents to Fillable PDFs:

1. Open Adobe Acrobat Desktop Version.
2. Click on Menu in the top left corner, then select Open (1st option in the drop down).
3. Select the File that you want to convert.
4. From the Menu Bar on the lefthand side, Click on "Prepare a Form".

6. Click the Blue "Create Form" button.

NOTE: By default Auto-Detect Form Field is set to ON, but double check this before creating the form.

7. A Fillable PDF will be generated with many of the field types converting over. At this point, review the generated form for errors.

8. If there are no issues, Click on Menu in the top left corner and Select "Save As" to save the Fillable PDF to your desktop.
