Home (or Form Library) Screen

The Home Screen (also referred to as Form Library) is 1 of 2 working screens in the Form Engine. Your Home Screen will be empty until you digitize your 1st form. Below is a snap shot of what a Form Engine Library looks like with digitized forms.

All digitized form templates for a Realm are listed and you can work with them from here. The Library is searchable and sortable to enable you to manage a growing library of digitized form templates.  The forms you digitize will automatically be added to this list.  Click on any form listed to open that form to view and/ or edit it as a Form Builder.

Using the Filter/ Search Box in the right hand corner, you can search for forms by using any key word(s) in the Title or Description.

All Form Builders who log into a Realm will have access to the single shared library of digitized forms/assets. For security reasons, Builders can only see and access forms for Quickbase Apps that they have Administrative rights in. If you or one of your Builders don’t see a form/asset in your library that you want to work, it means the Builder needs to be granted sufficient access to the target app and tables in Quickbase. Once access is given then the form/asset will appear.

Forms/assets can be deactivated by unchecking the check mark under the Active column. This designates the form as “Inactive”. You can click on the column headers to sort forms by Active (putting Inactive at the bottom of the list - sometimes on 2nd or 3rd screens with longer lists), or Updated (date form created or most recently updated).

The Home Screen/ Form Library shows 20 forms at a time, and the total number of digitized form templates (with navigation to the rest of them) is shown here:

Click the green "New Template" button to create a New Form Template. This will allow you to upload a form or document in one of the formats shown (or convert it to one of those formats first).:
