QR Codes

This major feature auto-generates a QR code for every form, document or other asset digitized with the Form

Engine.  QR codes can be read natively by most smart phone and tablet cameras, and scanning QR codes opens any form, document or asset behind them.  So they extend mobile access to online/digital forms and assets wherever they are embedded, printed or otherwise displayed.  You can create and deploy QR codes all over your organization, for multitudes of uses, extending your Quickbases and other information and support for mobile access even into the physical world.  This feature also enables easy updating of the digitized assets, with the QR code being a permalink (like Form Engine URLs) to the most updated asset all the time, wherever they are used.  So you centrally manage all digital assets behind the QR codes from your Form Engine library screen.

Radio Buttons

These are multiple-choice fields in Quickbase that the Form Engine can display as Radio Buttons, and even better than in native QB, these radio buttons can be individually placed anywhere they are needed on Form Engine forms.  Radio buttons are an important field type for online forms--they differ from checkboxes and are used when you only want the user to be able to check one of the options.  It adds valuable data validation and integrity for many if not most forms.  Most fillable pdfs use checkboxes when they should use radio buttons, a mistake that leaves them open to users making errors completing the forms.
