Includes Magic Authentication Link so your Form Builders don’t have to log into the Form Engine separately anymore, Custom Success Messages so you can customize the popup your users see when they successfully submit forms, ability to Display Embedded Reports which allows for reports from any Quickbase app and table to be embedded in forms or documents, including reports of related child records, Geolocation/IP Metadata Capture so Forms can track IP Address, Latitude, Longitude, and even Altitude when a Form is submitted.

Magic Auth Link

Using the “Publish Magic-Auth Link” wizard (highlighted below) allows you to create a “Launch Form Engine” button on any of your dashboards that opens your Form Engine library with no login needed.  So your Form Engine access just got easier from within your Quickbase apps, which is particularly useful in SSO realms.

Custom Success Messages

With this new feature, Builders can create highly formatted custom messages that will display once a Form has been submitted. Builders can provide direction to users regarding next steps using custom text, hyperlinks, images, and more. Messages are form template specific.

Display Embedded Reports

As many of you asked for, you can now embed reports inside your forms and PDF output documents.  These can be “Unrelated reports”, from any Quickbase app and table, or Related reports, like listing the child records of a parent record in the form/document.

Geolocation/IP Address Metadata Capture

Forms now capture the IP address of the form completer automatically, and can capture the Latitude, Longitude, Altitude, or all three into text or number fields for forms submitted from phones, tablets or laptops (as long as users have their device’s location turned on). You can use this to identify the physical location where a form was completed/submitted.
