Import from- and Output to Powerpoint
Powerpoint (and .jpg image files) are the first of several common file formats that the Form Engine will now let you import from and output to. This further extends the output formats for your Quickbase data, improving your ability to deliver information in the business.
Improved Form Builder Tools
You’ll see new behaviors and tools when you’re digitizing forms, like multi-field select, movement, alignment, and other operations. There are new shortcut keys. The field display on fields that are close together is much cleaner and easier to work with. Arrow keys can now nudge one or multiple fields at a time, and more. We know you will be just as excited about these enhancements as we are.
Customizable Field Labels
You can now control the field names that are displayed on your forms to your users instead of using the Quickbase field name. You can choose to have custom text appear in the field, or have the field appear blank. This feature works similar to Quickbase’s “Alternate Label Text” on native forms.
Compressed Images
You can now compress large file size photos/images embedded in forms. By default, this improvement automatically shrinks images so they fit inside the field perimeters you establish. File size for embedded images are also reduced so they are not too large to send to your app. This also helps keep the size of the output pdfs small enough for emailing or working with in general.
